[Privoxy-users] Does Privoxy work with recent Android 9?

Hi Cilantro,

I now run Android 10 and see the exact same behaviour as you, so I suspect the existing Android Privoxy binary is simply incompatible with more recent Android versions. From the ticket you reference it seems the last known compatible is Android 7 (unless anyone can report differently?).

Conveniently though, I now run the same Linux platform from which Android Privoxy was cross-compiled. I'll speak to the Privoxy user who got this working in the first place and see if I can follow his steps with the latest codebase, though I cannot promise when I'll find time. When you see an updated Android release of Privoxy it'll be because I got it working!

Watch this space..

Ian
