[Privoxy-users] Does Privoxy work with recent Android 9?

After having used Privoxy for years under multiple Linux flavors, I'm
now trying to install Privoxy 3.0.26 on my Galaxy S4 tablet, running
Android 9, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

Tried following the instructions at:
	https://www.privoxy.org/sf-download-mirror/Android/3.0.25%20(beta)/privoxy%20readme.txt

No luck; permission denied. Found the bug report at:
	https://sourceforge.net/p/ijbswa/bugs/907/
and allowed ConnectBot Storage access, which clearly helped. But now
the error message is "Bad system call".

Does Privoxy run on more recent versions of Android? I couldn't find
anything else in the tickets, and don't know how to search the mailing
list. Probably not interested in trying to compile it myself.

Thank you for a great piece of software.

Cilantro
