I guess I don't understand what you're saying about https.

I've tried putting "thechive.com" and ".thechive.com" in { allow-ads } and
it still blocks the ads.
I've tried putting "slashdot.org" and ".slashdot.org" in { allow-ads } and
it still blocks those ads, too.
If I disable Privoxy, the ads come through just fine on both sites.

I haven't edited any other parts of any of the configuration files.  I've
reinstalled Privoxy three times now and even tried installing the previous
stable version but had the same behavior..
