One additional data point: when I run shell:startup on one of the computers which reliably invoke Privoxy, there is
no shortcut entry in the .... Start Menu \ Programs \ Startup folder, which is where the above-referenced shortcut
would be in Lee's reply. That leads me to believe that the Privoxy install routine uses a registry entry or some
other means of calling Privoxy at boot time. Possible? Where would that be?
