Thanks. I probably should have been more clear.
I was already aware that adblock2privoxy exists and what it's
supposed to do but I didn't look at it closely and thus am not
familiar enough with it to decide whether or not enabling it
by default is a good idea.
The following TODO list item is relevant here:
| 166 75) Create a tool that creates Privoxy action (and filter?) files
| 167 out of adblock files. Could be implemented as option for
| 168 url-pattern-translator.pl. Before doing that, the already
| 169 existing solutions should probably be evaluated to see if
| 170 they do the job already or could be improved.

I consider adblock2privoxy one of the "existing solutions"
that should be evaluated but there are others.
