Hello,

I installed the version from https://www.privoxy.org/ and it was successful. Thanks for your help.

Can you tell me where to find the configuration files on Mac OS? I would like to complete replace them rather than update via the gui.

Thanks again

Hi Jacob,

It would be great if whoever runs that web site were to update their links to Privoxy - they are referencing specific, now old, versions of Privoxy so are leading their readers astray, in a certain sense. The link instead should be simply https://www.privoxy.org/ - on this page we list the download locations for the latest versions for every supported operating system.

Please follow your nose to the latest macOS installer and see how you go with it - do report back to let us know if it works out or if you have further problems.

Ian
