[Privoxy-users] A quick question

Hi there,
I don't understand HTTP very well. I want to ask before I delve into
walls of manuals:
I want privoxy to work like a web app, for example, when I send a
request to the privoxy server with a url like
"server.com/privoxy/example.com/file.zip", then it intercepts the
request and forwards that to "example.com", without the "/privoxy" part
it forwards the request to Apache. On the client side I create rules to
rewrite out going requests. For https, I can setup a reverse proxy such
as nginx behind privoxy to terminte TLS there. Will this actually work?
