Hi Milan,
It certainly sounds as though your requests are not reaching Privoxy.
First of all could you share your proxy config from Firefox and a copy of your Privoxy config file?
Separately, here are some troubleshooting steps you could try:
Use curl at the Pi commandline (obviously with the appropriate switch in place to connect to the net via Privoxy's listen port) to request a test web page and confirm that that works.
If it does, then the issue would seem to be a network routing problem between your laptop and the Pi - try using command-line tools to test that the laptop can 'see' the Pi by first of all pinging its LAN address. If that works try to telnet to the Pi address and Privoxy listening port.
