[Privoxy-users] Sudden slowdown on 50% of websites?

Fascinating.

I changed the DNS settings in MacOS and tried to change them in my router as well. The router configuration didn’t take, so I restarted it. When it restarted, it had the same DNS config as before. All websites loaded fine through Privoxy.

I removed the new DNS settings from MacOS, so essentially my setup was exactly the same as before, but everything still worked fine. Maybe forcing either the router or the Mac to fetch the DNS settings anew cleared out whatever the problem was. Odd…

So perhaps it was the router and not the ISP.

I’ll hold off on including more logs for now, since I’m assuming they’ll show everything working fine, but if the situation arises again, I’ll capture the logs before trying to reset things.
