Hi!
Two years are gone since the last release and a new Debian release can
be seen on the horizon. There's no freezing schedule yet, but a first
freeze for installer packages was announced this week, so it would be
nice to have a recent version of privoxy in the new Debian release.
I had a quick overview of new features and see the following after
3.0.34 release:
- pcre2 support
- wolfssl support
- https-inspection no longer tagged "experimental"
- HOWTOs for https-inspection and client-tags
- tests/cts
- tons of small changes that should be released
What do you think, is it time for a new release?
We talked about changing the numbering scheme, so maybe we should
release a 4.0 instead of 3.0.35.
Season greetings
Roland
