For me it's okay, from a Debian point of view the earlier the better,
since we are in soft freeze for bullseye (Debian 11) now, which means
that a new version needs at least 10 days in unstable before it can
migrate to testing (AKA bullseye).
On 2021-03-12 the hard freeze should start, which will make it hard to
get a new version into the release after this, which means that the
package should pass the 10 days waiting _before_ March 12th, so I
should upload a bug free package in February if possible...
