[Privoxy-devel] $Id: and TODO

Odd that TODO doesn't seem up to date in CVS. Fabian what can you tell us about the file's currency?
I did a bit of research and it seems that $Id$ is just not a Git concept. Tracking the who and when of commits is entirely within the realm of the admin commands and you don't get to print it into the files themselves (other than by writing a macro that does it that is called on commit, which seems fragile).
That said, I'm not sure we should go through and delete them all - we can know that they're no longer being updated and, in the future, might once again be when we move on from Git to whatever is the new hotness in 5 or 10 years ;o)
