Hi Fabian, 

I do not have a build environment for macOS at the moment, having migrated to linux following the theft of my MacBook Pro, however I think you should go ahead with your proposed schedule anyway. macOS has always been a much smaller part of the user community than *nix and Windows.

There is a chance I might be able to recreate a build environment in a VM, dropping support for OS X < 10.6 (Apple make it very difficult to retain support for older targets when they update Xcode), but I don't yet have a timescale for this.
